Who we are

InstantHire ("we," "us," or "our") operates a job discovery service for the creator economy. This policy applies to our website and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive information from your Google account that Supabase authentication makes available to us (such as your name, email address, and profile picture). We do not receive your Google password.
• Email for alerts. If you subscribe to job alerts or welcome updates, we collect the email address you provide.
• Usage and technical data. We may collect information about how you interact with the site (for example, pages viewed, links clicked, and general device or browser information) through logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
• Communications. If you contact us, we keep the content of your message and contact details so we can respond.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve InstantHire (including search, sorting, and job listings);
• Authenticate you and maintain your account session;
• Send job alerts, welcome messages, and service-related emails you request;
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service;
• Monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Job listings and third-party content

Job posts shown on InstantHire are aggregated from public or third-party sources. When you follow a link to apply or view a post at its original source, that third party's privacy policy applies to any information you provide there. We are not responsible for third-party sites or how they handle your data.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database, and hosting-related infrastructure;
• Google when you choose "Continue with Google" for sign-in;
• Email delivery providers to send alerts and transactional messages.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We share only what is needed for them to perform their services.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage (including session cookies set through Supabase authentication) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit sign-in and certain features.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Alert subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is retained while your account is active or as required afterward.

Your choices

• Email alerts. You can unsubscribe from marketing or alert emails using the link in those messages or our unsubscribe page.
• Account. You may sign out at any time. To request deletion of account-related data, contact us using the details below.
• Access and correction. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Contact us to make a request.

Children

InstantHire is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

If you access InstantHire from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in other countries where our providers maintain facilities.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
